TK-6 - You will add comments and mark off which student services students receive in the Trimester 1 Elementary Support Services Report Card Fields Report.

Do not use Longer Comments. Longer Comments are not printing on the report card.
Be sure you have NO blank grades.
Choose “Post Final Grades”
Choose “Use Gradebook” to upload your grades from the gradebook.
Follow the same directions as High School Academic Warnings. (Videos below).

Add services and comments for your Homeroom students using the Trimester 1 Elementary Support Services Report Card Fields Report. (Video at top.)
Choose “Post Standards Based Grades” for your homeroom HR for Student Responsiblities.
Mass Add Student Responsibilities marks then individually update those that need to change
Choose “Post Final grades” for all of your subject periods.
Choose “Use Gradebook” to upload from your gradebook and follow the same directions as High School Academic Warnings.
Report Card and Progress Reports are the same process.

View report cards. This links to the Aeries report cards, but they will show you the [GR] standard for each grade level. As soon as we have a Focus example, they will be replaced with that.

Set the standards correctly in the gradebook
View your report cards here
Assign a “graded” [GR] category standard - these are in gray on the report card templates. These get L,P,M grades TK-3 and a letter grade for 4th-5th grade.
Assign at least one sub standard - these are in white and belong in a category (gray) on the report card. These will get an “X” if it is an area of concern.
Upload from gradebook
Choose “Post Standards Based Grades” for each subject.
Choose “Use Gradebook” to upload from your gradebook
Grades with a [GR] tagged standard for assignments will autopopulate.
For [GR] standards that you have not assessed, use the Mass Add function to add “NM” for No Mark or “NE” for Not Evaluated.
Use either the Mass Add or individually add an “X - Area for Concern”.

Choose “Post Standards Based Grades” for each subject.
For the [GR] standards that need a grade, use the Mass Add function to add grades or hand enter each student’s grade.
For [GR] standards that you have not assessed, use the Mass Add function to add “NM” for no mark or “NE” for Not Evaluated.
Use either the Mass Add or individually add an “X - Area for Concern”
Student responsibilities all appear as standards in the Homeroom. Use Mass Add to marks and then change individually.

If you are using the gradebook to push your grades for progress reports/report cards, take a minute to make sure you've attached standards correctly, so pushing your grades for progress reports and report cards will be easy!

I’ve saved my grades, but my class is not dropping off of my “to-do” list.
Check to see that every student has a grade. It won’t save as done if one student is missing a grade.
I posted my grades, but now I need to update one. I don’t know how to get there.
Go to Final Grades > then choose Standards (TK-5) or Post grades (6-8). Once you get the screen make sure you click Progress Report at the top.
